There and back again - a few songs from the past

Below you will find an assortment of different songs that I've bumped into from time to time. In some sense they all have had something more or less important to say or contributed in some stages of my life, either to soothe or inspire... and they still do!

Carolyn's song 'Complicated' taken from the album 'Room with a view' is all about that tricky relationship between friends, or is it only friends? Well, her song is very down to earth and she makes a couple of valid points!	The rock band that has some very religious views on life released this song, 'One last breath', on the album Weathered in 2001. The song is one of Creed's more downbeat songs even if it can be clearly heard in various bits within the song that they are still a rock band. All in all, a good song with lyrics that does have a meaning and makes you ponder the essential questions (you know, to which the answer is 42).	Vertical Horizon is a band that we haven't heard much from in Sweden. I first encountered them through friends of mine from the U.S. Vertical Horizon makes good pop-rock music, very easy to listen to and this song 'Everything you want' is taken from the album with the same name. I wonder if this song isn't about me really? I AM everything anyone would want, right?
'Hanging by a moment' is taken from the album 'No name face'. This is a rock/alternative band that also haven't been played very much in our parts of the world. This song was released somewhere around the year 2000 and was apparently used in the NHL the following season thus making it to the billboards.	Taken from the album 'Play' the song 'Why does my heart feel so bad' doesn't have a lot of complicated lyrics! Well. Mostly, the title tells it all! :)	Yet another band and song that I have to credit my friend from Bellingham, WA (Alexis) for ever listening to. I don't think I've even seen their CD's in stores here. The song is an all-acoustic song about lost love and past memories. Mostly about love. Well, usuaully songs are about that... or sex. Anyway, the song is called 'Years ago'.
Quite a recent band, Daughtry, started playing here in Sweden during the summer of 2007. This song, Crashed, reflected many of the feelings I had during that period of time, total crash. And then I crashed into you - Like a runaway train. Well, yes I did. The Acoustic version is probably the favorite of the two versions. (Original)
